1. This photo has a very shallow depth of field and strong contrast. The figures face in in focus and the candle it is blowing is out of focus while lighting up his face in the darkness. The background is mostly black besides two lights that have a bokeh effect. I achieved by using a low aperture of f/1.8.This shows a strong sense of depth as if the figure is right in front of you and far away from any other objects. It also portrays a mysterious feeling because the mood is dark and gloomy.
2. This photo has a cinematic/movie effect that makes you wonder whats on the backside of the No Trespassing sign. This image was taken at eye point of view using the rule of thirds. The sign is in focus and the background is out of focus using a low aperture. I used a high iso so it made the picture bright and feel alive. I also used a relatively close distance to sign so it catches the viewers eye. There is a very smooth and broad sense of feeling portrayed in this image.
3. This image has warm tone to it and high contrast. The front of the tiki is dark and there is a bright light highlighting the shape of the tiki figure. This image was taken from a straight on view and you can see all of the curves and textures of the figure. I also used a relatively close distance but did not cut any of the figure out. I was able to create a mysterious mood and a sense of wonder on why the photographer chose to photograph this.
